A variety of patterns here, and I have tried to describe them clearly and rate them by difficulty.
All the patterns are in UK terminology, unless stated otherwise.
Wendy 3712 Lace motifs cardigan
The two sizes are actual measurements 42inch (107cm) and 48inch (124.5cm) and these are to fit 32 - 36inch (81 - 91cms) and 38 - 42inch (97 - 107cm) respectively. I do think that if you were at the small end of these sizes you might find it too large. I bought this pattern with the intention of making it as a casual cover-up for taking on holiday. Then I discovered that I don't like making motifs, even though these are rather pretty, so I never finished it and eventually recycled the yarn into something else. Still, if you do like making many little motifs which join together on the last round so no sewing, it would be a useful summer jacket. The leaflet is in good condition with an old sticker mark on the front as you can see. £2.00, free p+p.
Beau Regard 181 Crochet lace summer top
A very nice summer top with a 2 row repeat lacy pattern. There is very little shaping so I think it would be easy enough for anyone to make. The sizes go from 34 to 44inch (86 - 112cm) and any double knitting yarn would work. This nice little leaflet is £2.00.
Patons 5390 Motif-edged V-neck cardigan
A lovely long cardigan which has instruction to make in dk or 4ply. One size is given which is to fit 34 - 40 inch (86 - 102cm). The actual garment size is 47inch (119cm) when made in double knit and 45.5inch (116cm) when made in 4ply. I like the look of this a lot and think it would be flattering but I just haven't got round to making it yet. It looks like a pattern a fairly new crocheter could follow but it has no stitch diagrams so you need to be sure you can read and understand a crochet pattern. Sirdar 882 Vintage crochet collar and cuffs sets in 4ply
Very sweet old-fashioned collar cuffs sets which look like they would be fairly easy to make. I have no doubt that on the right garment these would look stunning. Only one size is given and the suggested wool and nylon yarns are no longer available but any quality 4 ply would work and I also think that a cotton yarn would look good, too. Good condition leaflet, the punch holes that you see do not affect the pattern at all. £2.00.
Jaeger 4274 Short sleeved mohair tunics
The pattern has instructions for 2 sizes, 34 - 36inch and 36 - 38inch. Each is the same pattern but the zigzag stripes come from changing colour every row. I don't know if Jaeger Mohair is available now, but any mohair (and probably any yarn that gave the correct tension) would work. It is made on a 5.5mm crochet hook so must work up pretty fast, although I have not made it.. On reading through, it does look like a nice simple pattern and I think anyone could do it. The leaflet is in good lightly creased condition. £2.00
Jarol E1175 Crochet cotton lacy vest in two lengths
Ideal for summer, these tops are quick to work in cotton on a 2.5mm hook. Although they look complicated, anyone who knows the basics would be able to tackle either of these or the matching hat. I don't know if this particular brand of cotton is still available, but it seems as if it works up like a fairly standard crochet cotton. I don't think I used the recommended yarn and I got a good result. Sorry, no pictures as it was a few years ago! This pattern leaflet is in good condition with no marks. £2.00 and FREE p+p
Copley Lotus 9024 Crochet lacy stole with pompom trim and crochet capelet in shell pattern
Crochet mohar stole (blue) with pompom trim is worked on a 7mm crochet hook and is a very quick lacy pattern that repeats over 2 rows. Simple enough for a beginner. The crochet cape (pink) is also worked on a 7mm hook. It is a little more complicated due to the shaping but still not too difficult for someone with a little experience (make the stole first!). It is worked from the neck down and appears to only have 14 rows in all (7 in mesh pattern for shoulder shaping and 7 in shell pattern down from there). There is a cape very like this in "The Happy Hooker" by Debbie Stoller. The knitted shawl (white) is a simple triangle in an openwork stripe, suitable for a fairly new knitter. Don't be put off by the long instructions - it is simpler than you might think once you get going. This 1974 leaflet is in good condition with very light creasing. £2.00 + FREE post and packing.
Peter Gregory 7136 Crochet cotton diamond pattern sweater
This oversized jumper is recommended for Sunbird Pure Cotton DK, Peregrine DK, and Snow Goose All Wool DK, so substitution should be OK. I don't know if any of the recommended yarns are available. I found it quite difficult and had to start it several times before getting the pattern right. Then I got bored and ended up pulling it back and making something else. I still think it looks great in the picture and the cotton version should be cool for summer. A more experienced crocheter would probably not have as much trouble with it as I did but I would certainly not recommend it for anyone else. It is sized for small, medium and large, with the finished sizes being 38.5", 43", and 48" respectively. The leaflet is in good clean condition. £2.00 + FREE post and packing
Lister N2478 Crochet tank top with or without sleeves
Two very simple scoop neck tank tops to crochet in dk. Sizes 34" to 40" bust. Seven types of yarn are recommended in the pattern, so substitution would be simple. This simple pattern would be suitable for someone new to crochet and both would work worn on their own for sexy summer tops. There is a shop sticker on the front but the pattern is in good condition. £2.00 + FREE post and packing.
Patons 3081 Very quick crochet tops for women
Slash neck top and tunic in brushed chunky, done on an 8mm crochet hook. This is a super quick, super easy design with very clear diagrams inside for the special stitch called a combined triple treble. The long tunic is basically two rectangles. The top is the same but has knitted-on borders. I recommend the tunic to a new crocheter and the top to a new crocheter/knitter. Leaflet in very good condition. £2.00 + FREE postage and packing
Hayfield 1238 Crochet lace T-shirt and halter back top
A lacy T-shirt type top and a halter neck top both worked in dk on a 4mm hook. Both look very simple and although I have not made these I reckon someone new to crochet could manage either of these. The sizes go from 32" to 38" bust. The leaflet is in good condition with punch holes in the side which do not affect the pattern. £2.00 and FREE p+p
