If you have specific questions about the skills or techniques in any of the patterns, please ask and I will do my best to help.

Sirdar 9645  Fair Isle look sweater

This beautiful sweater is actually knit in two double knitting yarns yarns only.  For the contrast a random pattern multicoloured yarn gives a great Fair Isle look with minimal effort.  This is a great start to multicolour work as only the two yarns are used.  The sizes are 30-44inch (76-112cm).  The leaflet is in excellent condition, £2.00 and free postage.

Sirdar 5730  Fringed tunic and poncho

This pattern was passed on to me by a friend who had made the tunic without the fringe.  She used similar colours to this and it looked fantastic over her jeans.  I helped her with it as she was just learning to knit and there were no problems for her at all.  The skills required are simply casting on to start, knit, purl, casting on at the end of a row and then finally casting off and sewing up.  The poncho has more shaping but would be easy to do after the tunic.
It is done in chunky on size 6.5mm needles.  The leaflet is in good condition with a crease across the middle.  £2.00.

Patons 1403   Textured stripe tunic

This tunic has only minimal shaping - some at the front neck and some in the sleeves.  The textured stripes go over a 28 row repeat which includes quite a lot of stocking stitch.  The lacy stripe does have crossed stitches but does not seem too difficult for a moderate knitter.  Sized for 32 - 38ins (81 - 97cm).  The leaflet is in good condition but there is a little bit of writing on the back which does not interfere with the pattern.  £2.00.

Wendy 1894  Ribbed V-neck sweater in DK

A classic design - raglan sleeves, all over ribbing, V-neck and pockets.  Sized for 32 - 44 inch (81 - 112 cms) chest.  What more can I say?  Very good condition leaflet £2.00.

Patons 1634  Fair Isle sweater with round or polo neck

The picture says it all.  Very nice traditional looking Fair Isle pattern with a choice of round or polo neck.  The sizes are 32 - 44 inch (51 - 112cms) chest.  You don't have to strand the colours very far, but on some rows you will be working with three colours.  It is knitted in chunky knitting using needle sizes 5mm and 6mm, unlike the usual fine Fair Isle work.  The leaflet is in good condition with only a little sticker on the front.  £2.00.

Andrew Stewart SR302  Ribbed lumber jacket in 3ply

A classic design with raglan sleeves, round edged collar, and pockets.  The all over rib pattern is worked over a 2 row repeat.  It is difficult to find patterns for fine yarn these days and it is almost as quick to knit up as thicker yarn.  The sizes given are for 34 inch to 40 inch bust.  This very old leaflet is in remarkably good condition.  £2.00.

Patons Bracken Tweed Double Knitting 9020   Knitted slimline skirt and V-neck cardigan suit

A lovely vintage pattern, probably from the '60s.  It is for double knitting so substitution should be simple and the instructions are nice and clear.  Sizes go from 34 to 44 inch bust.  The leaflet describes it as a cardigan suit so there is not much else to say about it except that the skirt is worked from the hem upward with part of the shaping being achieved by changing needle size.  The cardigan is pretty much of the standard type with the button bands being sewn on afterwards.  It has pockets which you can just make out in the picture but these could be omitted for a smoother line.  The leaflet is creased and has a few tiny marks in it but is perfectly usable.  £2.00 with FREE p+p

Jaeger Nordic Look Natur Garn 4896   Knitted round or roll neck Icelandic patterned sweaters

This lovely pattern is much easier than it looks.  The multicolour work needs the yarn to be stranded over only a few stitches at a time and you only work with two colours at any time.  The second time I made this, I left off the spot pattern after a couple of repeats and it still looked great.  I particularly like the way the pattern is at the top of the sleeves but my neighbour changed it and put it at the cuffs, like the body, and it also looked great.  I don't know if this actual yarn is still available but I have seen similar in good colours so substitution should be OK.  The sizes are to fit 34" to 42" chest, with actual jumper measuring about 35.5" to 43.5" and they are worked on 6mm needles.  The leaflet is in good condition with only very slight creasing.  £2.00 + FREE post and packing

Jarol E511  Knitted sweater with knitted or crochet lace edging

These two sweaters are knit in double knitting yarn.  The blue one is entirely knitted and the white one has a crochet edging.  The range of sizes are to fit from 30inch(76cm) to 40inch(102cms).  The patterns seem pretty straightforward and the blue one would be fine for anyone fairly new to knitting, the white one would be OK for someone new to knitting but with some knowledge of crochet.  The strange striped effect you can see is a result of the scanning process - the sweaters are both in plain colours.  The leaflet is in very good condition with only very slight creasing and no marks.  £2.00 + FREE post and packing.

Sirdar 5424    Chunky knitted longline vest or waistcoat

This knitted longline vest is worked in chunky yarn on old size 0 needles which is 8mm (US 11), so progresses pretty quickly.  The simple pattern is worked over 3 rows so is very easy to learn.  This is sized for 28inch to 38inch chest.  Although the vest is knitted, it does have an edging of double crochet (US single crochet) but this should not be a problem even for someone new to crochet.  All in all, I would recommend this for a fairly new knitter who is ready to tackle a larger project.  £2.00 with FREE p + p.
