Adult sized earflap tassel hat

Crocheted in King Cole Cotton Feel glitterspun. As the yarn name suggests, it has a feel of cotton and is a treat for those who need a warm hat without the itchy feel that some woolen yarns can have.  The main colour is a dark red wine colour, some screens may not show it exactly.  Although you can't see it too well in this picture, the little flecks you can see are actually shiny metallic gold coloured threads spun into the yarn.  What a great way to bring a bit of sunshine into a cold day!

Premature baby size cap and matching cot/buggy blanket

 

Here is a close up of the cot blanket in wave pattern.  The main colour is cream and it has accents of golden brown and chocolate brown.  The overall effect is rather Autumnal so it would be great for an Autumn baby!  The sweet little cap shown below is in cream and the total look of baby in his or her cap peeking over the matching blanket is so cute.  I made it in one of my favourite yarns which is soft and snuggly but also machine washable and tumble dryable for convenience.
