 This is the sister site with recipes and ideas for all types of food including many vegetarian and vegan dishes.  Lots of unusual recipes from around the world.  Books, recipes, and more.  If you cook (or eat!) then you need to check this out!

   A huge forum with discussions about loads of crafts, with tutorials and pictures of what the members have made.  It is well organised and easy to navigate and totally addictive.  There is a load of information on making money from your crafts, websites, Etsy, and more.  Ask a question and someone is bound to know the answer.  You can even sign up to take part in a swap, a craft challenge, or a craftalong - and best of all...it's all free!

Crafty Tips is another craft site I like to visit. Loads of crafty tips (duh!) and links to free patterns and websites selling everything a crafter could need. Definitely worth a click.

 I built this site on my own and I'm very pleased with the great deal I got from 1 + 1.  It really is as simple as they say to build a fully working website with little more than "point and click" ability.  If you haven't got your website yet then check them out first.  Honestly, if I can do it, you can too.

If you like tapestry, cross stitch or any kind of embroidery, have a look at this great UK website.  The range of kits alone is superb; I love the "Heritage" collection in particular.  But they have more than kits - DMC thread (my favourite) at only 49p per skein!  Also, aida, canvas, card making supplies; it took me ages just to look around the site.  And something I've never seen before - 'glow in the dark' embroidery thread.  Honest, you couldn't make it up!  Now, what can I do with that?
